More than 1900 people are known to have died in a powerful earthquake in Nepal, with many more feared trapped under rubble. Millions of people are being forced to be homeless and thousands of them are being victims.

The 7.8 magnitude quake struck an area between the capital, Kathmandu, and the city of Pokhara on 25/04/15. Tremors were felt across the region, with further loss of life in rural parts and Mount Everest. The government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas.

Therefore, people of the UK from Nepal have started a campaign to support the victims to get through this disaster. We kindly request everyone to join hands in hands and help in every way possible.

Immediate steps

• Collecting clothes (new / extra / used) and sending to affected rural areas.

We are deploying clothes from the UK in coordination with Nepal Embassy UK, different NGOs and INGOs to reach to rural parts and across the region.

Please collect your clothes and contact the below persons asap if you wish to join hands on this.

• Raising funds to support food and shelter. This will be further extended to other areas.
