Bus Accidents in Far West, who is to blame?

Dr. Hem Raj Pant, Dhangadhi,

I was shocked by the news of bus accident in the Darchula road this morning. Surprisingly very little public concern is seen over this and similar other bus accidents. If there is a plane accident even without any loss of life like the one that happened in Mustang few days ago, a probe committee is formed immediately by the government. Surprisingly, no such probe committee is formed in case of bus accident. There have been several accidents killing dozens of passengers in the Darchula., Achham road this year. But not any investigation has been made by the comcerned authorities of the government. Is the life of poor people travelling is bus have no vale in the eye of the government? Who is responsible for this? The bus operators and their so called illegal syndicate? The corrupt traffic police who should checked the number of passengers travelling in in the bus .or the condition of the road .If the condition of road is not good then why night bus are allowed. Why not only day bus for the safety of the public?Nepal is perhaps only developing country of the world where the entire public transport system is left to the private bus owners. It is a shame to the government. An independent committee should be formed to investigate the cause of the accident and the responsible one should be punished.
